I do my best to make nightly homework clear to the kids before it goes home. That said, kids aren’t always really great about asking for help, or for letting adults know that they don’t know what to do. It often isn’t until they get home that they say, “I don’t know what to do with my homework!” Historically, this happens more often with math than with other subjects.
