Correspondence

I try hard to keep the lines of communication open with parents and students. As a parent myself, I know the value in being able to contact my child’s teacher.

The best time to call me on the phone is in the afternoon after the kids have left. Unless I’m in a meeting (which happens a lot), I should be able to give you the undivided attention you need.

If you need to call in the morning, understand that at this time of day, I’m very focussed on getting things ready for the day, planning lessons, getting experiments ready, etc., so I may seem rushed.

The BEST way to get in touch with me (unless you need to speak to me directly) is by email or Bloomz. I check my mail several times a day, and other parents have found it very handy and worthwhile. If you email or Bloomz me, I will get back to you as soon as possible.

I hope to get Bloomz up and running soon since I know many here at John McLoughlin have used this app in the past for teacher/parent communication. I'll keep you posted.
