I’ve been teaching for thirty years in Oregon City. I received a bachelor’s degree from George Fox University in Newberg, and a master’s degree from Western Oregon State University. I began as a music teacher in 1988, then went back to school to get re-certified as a classroom teacher in 1992. I taught third grade at Park Place Elementary School for ten years, and then switched to Gaffney Lane in 2002 to teach fourth grade. Needing a bit of a change, I accepted a fourth grade position at John McLoughlin beginning in 2017.

My hobbies include walking, listening to music, reading, gardening, watching great movies, and anything else that involves my family. If I have some down time at home alone, I like watching Judge Judy because she tells it like it is.
