WELCOME TO FOURTH GRADE! I hope you had a refreshing summer and you’re ready for an exciting year of fun and learning. I’m anxious to get started!

     In the first week, we’ll take some time for academic activities, but our focus will be on getting organized, learning expectations, learning a bit about each other, and practicing skills that are essential for learning and getting along in school.  Spending the first week practicing skills of independence and establishing a positive classroom atmosphere usually makes the rest of the year smoother as the students know what is expected and what to do, and know they are in a safe, caring environment.

     I look forward to working with each of you. Thank you for letting me be your teacher!
