"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. ...Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightening about shrinking, so that other people won't feel insecure around you... As we let our light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others." - Quote from Coach Carter

AP Calculus is a 200-level College Course. Advanced students are allowed to take this course in High School where they will experience a true college curriculum, and the thought processes and study habits necessary to be successful when they enter college. Students will be expected and required to display and work with the academic maturity for the college level. In this course, we will be exploring the curriculum normally taught in MTH 251, and MTH 252 at CCC. This course, Calculus BC, also ventures some into the curriculum of MTH 253, but not enough to offer the credit necessary for CCC requirements. The course will culminate with an AP test designed and graded by The College Board. This test is recognized by a majority of Universities throughout the country as preparedness and credit worthy for their corresponding course(s) if the student gets a score at the level the respective University has set for passing standard. Most Universities recognize a score of 3 as passing; however, some require a score of 4 or even 5. Please check with your desired University to see what is their requirement.

Important Note: Calc BC will NOT offer additional college credit through CCC. We would have to cover an additional 2 Chapters beyond the College Board's Calc BC requirements to meet the requirements for CCC's MTH 253 course. As such, I have decided not to offer such credit.
