Mrs. Mantalas

     My name is Mrs. Mantalas and I am thrilled to be your 2nd grade teacher this year! This marks the beginning of my 11th year teaching. Within this 11 years I have taught P.E., 5th grade, 1st grade & this is my 5th year teaching 2nd. I love watching children get their "ah ha" moments and seeing the growth that happens over such a short school year.

     A little more about me: I am married and have 3-children plus a cat. My husband is a cross country and track coach for a local University. My oldest daughter will be in 2nd grade! This year should be interesting spending ALL day with 2nd graders! My youngest daughter is in preschool and my son turns 1 on September 16th. We just moved at the end of last school year so we are busy adjusting to a new home and meeting our neighbors and new friends.

     In my "free" time I enjoy being active. I like to be outdoors in the sunshine, camping, fishing, hiking and playing with my kiddos.
