Mrs. Henson's Classroom

American Literature is a year-long survey focusing on chronological order, but also on the themes of United States history that remain part of our world today. Some examples are immigration, diverse voices, freedoms, balancing responsibilities, and leadership.

My name is Mrs. Henson, and I am your guide. I have been teaching multiple subjects in Social Studies and English since 2010, and at OCHS since 2015. At school, I love interweaving my work together with other subjects and sharing students and adventures with my husband, Mr. Henson, the band director.

Outside of school, I have a silly ginger toddler named Elliott who takes up most of my time. We like traveling and hiking, particularly with family.

Students, please visit classroom.google.com for class materials. You should have an invitation in your school email to join class.

Parents, if you would like updates through Google Classroom about student progress, please send me an email at ann.henson@orecity.k12.or.us. These are automated emails, and not generated directly by me.
